Milpitas Discoveryland preschool believes in a healthful lifestyle with natural foods. Consequently, all meals served are 100% vegetarian. Our goal is to offer balanced vegetarian meals that include a variety of choices that are low in sugar, salt, and fats. We include whole grains, fruits and vegetables prepared for developing positive eating habits. Fresh and tasty hot lunches are served daily. Although some of the menu items sound like meat, meat analogs are served instead. The meals served comply with the nutritional standards set by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and California Department of Education.
